Plot
The plot the story revolves around two couple, Chandu and Nithya. They were lovers from a long time. But recently due to some misunderstanding, they gor separated. However, Chandu still loves Nithya as he did earlher.
One day, Nithya joins a reality horror show with her friends. When Chandu got to know about this he also joined the show thinking if they will spend time together, Nithya will come back with him. However, in the game unexpected events started taking place. If the contestants failed to pass the task the were killed. One by one people started dying. It also involves silly ragging. Fortunately, Chandu successfully protects Nithya’s life and wins her heart back.
Star performance
The film’s script revolves around the characters of Chandu and Nithya. Chandu is a boy who loves her girlfriend more than anyone. His character is of lucky and charming nature. Manoj plays his character. He depicted Chandu’s character full of humour and as a responsible man. His acting was consistent throughout the movie. Manoj delivers decent acting skills in the film. Nithya’s character is a woman who loves Chandu intensely. However, they had to separate due to some misunderstanding. Priyanka Sharma played her role. Her presence made the storyline more interesting. Moreover, at some scenes in the movie she did a fantastic job. But her acting skills could have been better.
Other important characters are Prashanth Nelli, Saikiran, Suresh, Madan, Amar, Karunakar, Radhika, Jyothi, Santhosh, Yashika, Nikitha, Sujatha, Murali, Yogi Khatri, Teja Reddy, Divija Chowdary and Kishore. They played a significant role in the movie. All of them delivered impressive performances on individual level.
Analysis
Tharuvatha Evaru is a decent movie. The movie’s script is exciting and unique. However, the script is unrealistic. The filmmakers should have added more scenes to push the proceedings in the film. Despite this, the film’s execution according to the script is average. Although the execution was fine, it had the potential to do better. The movie’s genres are horror and suspense. If the movie were just about horror, it would have done better. The elements of suspense were not matching with the storyline. However, the storyline was inconsistent. Filled with humour and horror, the first half of the movie is interesting but the second part was predictable. It could have been better. There was a massive difference between the two parts. But the concept of the movie was excellent.
Some scenes are unrealistic whereas some are easy to visualize. The production put the writer‘s effort in the right place. The film becomes boring in second half as it lacks comedy. Moreover, the pace of the film is problematic. It is instead a slow movie. Unimportant scenes were stretched to large extent. The cinematography of the movie is fantastic. Moreover, the actors specifically Manoj did impressive work. The supporting cast also delivered nuanced performance. The film’s soundtracks are also fun.

Tharuvatha Evaru is a watchable movie. The storyline is unique and exciting. Despite all the shortcomings, It is a one-time watch. However, one can even skip this movie.
