Aditya is a star hero in the film industry. His next high-budget movie is Garuda, produced by Mathi. Noted piracy site Tamil Rockerz announced that they will release the film before its theatrical release. This shocks the producer, who invested crores and crores. So, to stop the piracy, he meets the higher police officials. ACP Rudra, who lost his wife recently, was very much disturbed by her death. He is assigned to handle this piracy case. He teams up with the cyber forensic expert Sandhya and Cyber Cell SI, Bhanu, to stop the piracy. Were they successful? The rest of the series deals with it.
Arun Vijay has done a decent job. Vani Bhojan is lovely with her performance. Vinodhini has done justice to the given role. Iswarya Menon didn’t have a fleshy role. Azhagam Perumal perfectly showcased the mentality of a producer who invested crores. His performance is excellent. Though his role is small, MS Bhaskar has done justice to the given role.
Tamil Rockerz brings the sufferings of the film industry. The characters are designed well and given to the proper artists. The team has done deep research about the operation of the piracy sites. Though they have made a great effort, the central theme started diminishing due to flashback scenes. Though the investigation scenes are good, the series gives a draggy feel after a certain point. The climax is open-ended, and we guess they will have a sequel.
What’s Not There?
The series has good performances and neat direction. If some flashback scenes had been cut and some stretchy scenes had been edited, the series would have got a better reach. Yet, it is watchable once!
