CAST & CREW
MORE CAST & CREW
This film is directed by Dinesh Selvaraj, who worked as an assistant to ace director Maniratnam. The film introduces lot of newcomers. The highlight of the film is that it doesn’t have any heroine. Now let’s see whether the film manages to impress us.
The title of the film is being taken from a dialogue in Kamal Haasan’s iconic movie Naayagan. Shaariya doesn’t have mother and his father is a sincere cop. Shaariya befriends the friends of his brother, who had died in an accident. Shaariya aspires to settle in Malaysia but he doesn’t have sufficient money for that (also his father will not be able to provide him the money). Hence he involves in petty thefts along with the three friends of his brother. But Shaariya falls into a problem due to the three people. What happens later? Watch the movie to know.
Karthikeyan, who is a television artist, doesn’t have sufficient dialogues in the film. However, he excels in his villainous act. Shaariya does a convincing act as a naïve person. In fact, he gives a realistic performance. Jagadish also doesn’t fail to leave an impression. The rest of the cast do what is required of them. There is no heroine in this flick.
There is lot of suspense elements in the movie. The director Dinesh Selvaraj has executed the film in an astute manner. The director should be appreciated for his novel attempt of taking a film with a heroine.
