Plot

After her father's death, Jamuna undertakes the driver's job. Shocked by her father's death, Jamuna's mother is paralyzed and bedridden. Her brother is in Bangalore, working in an IT company. One day a ride with some paid killers put Jamuna's life at risk. Those baddies are appointed to kill an ex-MLA and his son. What will Jamuna of after knowing their plan? Was she able to save the MLA's life? The rest of the film deals with it.

Star Performance

Aishwarya Rajesh and Aadukalam Naren excelled well in their characters.

Analysis

Women-centric films are not new to the Tamil film industry. Aishwarya Rajesh had always been different in picking her scripts. Though it is a women-centric film, Aishwarya's films will never look like template women-centric films but have a lot of performance-oriented scenes to prove her mettle. But this film is a bit different. Though she had a lot to prove her talent, some improperly handled scenes made a mess and spoiled the script. Though the director wanted to capture the expressions of Aishwarya closer, it didn't work out as expected. Many scenes needed a good edit. However, the visuals and BGM are excellent.

• The screenplay and execution could have been better
• The editing should have been a bit crisper

Verdict

Though the climax portions showed Aishwarya's excellence, as the initial scenes are not designed properly, it didn't surprise the audience. However, she got an excellent opportunity to prove her talent in the climax, which she used well. Though the film couldn't be rated high, it can be watched once!
