The movie is a remake of the small-budgeted Tamil heist film ‘Rajathandiram.’

Plot

Three jobless youths, Arjun and his friends make ends meet through small-time crimes as cons. They lead a carefree life. When Arjun falls in love, he decides to assist his ladylove with her financial troubles. As a result, the trio make a plan for a heist. They plan to rob the city’s most prominent jewellery showroom for personal reasons. However, their mission takes an unexpected turn, and they find themselves trapped in a trickier situation than anticipated. They find themselves entrapped by two shady characters who want them to attempt a much more significant heist, which goes haywire and creepy baddies are after them. The con job sets off a chain of events that lead to a riveting cat-and-mouse game which forms the plot of the story.

Star Performances

The film’s clever screenplay readily impresses. The movie falters when it comes to giving the hero excessive commercial traits instead of maintaining subtlety in the heist drama. Technically, the film fares decently.

Analysis

The movie is a remake of the Tamil film Rajathandiram. While most scenes are retained from the original, some key actors’ performances fall short of expectations. Villains fail to menace to evoke the brutal duel. Anoop Revanna tries his best in the author-backed role, but he needs to improve his dialogue delivery. Ritiksha, a newcomer, acts well but can’t match up to Regina Cassandra’s performance in the original.
