Vaidehi is an Intelligence officer, who stays with her mother, who is very much lovable and caring. Vaidehi gets a new case and it is about the mysterious death of a doctor. The case is very tough and she finds it hard to figure it out whether it is a suicide or murder. How did she find it out? Watch the film in theaters!

Star Performance

Haripriya has the talent to step into the shoes of any role which she is offered. All her previous films are the witnesses. In her 25th Kannada film, she did justice to the role offered. Sumalatha and Haripriya’s chemistry is beautiful. Suraj and Prabhu had done their parts well in the given screen time.

In this film, a heroine does the hero job and vice versa happens. This is not to offend anyone. Usually, our films will project the heroes gigantically and the heroines are given some template roles. Here, Haripriya occupies the entire screen space as it is a woman-centric film. The mother and daughter bonding is dealt with neatly. Haripriya is an apt choice. But, it is not sure if the audiences accept the roles of those heroes. However, the director has depicted Haripriya’s character well. Like the hero-oriented films, this one also has a lot of commercial elements.

What’s There?

  • Haripriya’s performance is good
  • Mother-daughter bonding is shown well
  • Characterization is perfect

What’s Not There?

  • The narration should have been better

If you like to watch a different film from that of the action hero subject, you could try this out. The film has a right proportion of action, romance and sentiment. D/O Parvathamma is watch-worthy!
