There is a buzz in the media that the main plot of Dharma Durai is based on Jallikattu and its ban. Even a shooting spot picture of the film that released recently features a bull next to a group photo. However, the director responded very soon saying that the film has nothing to do with political sides of Jallikattu.
Director Seenu Ramasamy, who is known for bringing unique and simple story line in his films, is expected to repeat the same in Dharma Durai.
