The Revenue and Disaster Management Department in Tamilnadu announced that the all cinema halls, gymnasiums, swimming pools, entertainment parks, theatres, bars, auditoriums, assembly halls, beaches, tourist places, zoological parks, museums and similar places of public gatherings, sports complexes and stadia would be permitted to open without spectators. It also mentioned that their previous statement in their annexure would be deleted and the deleted report is that the public transport carriers will charge for 50% additional fare over and above their existing fare for all types of operations temporarily to compensate the loss due to operating at lesser seating capacity.
So, as per the statement, the transportation will continue with existing fares and the cinema halls and other entertainment places will be opened only for maintenance. It is highly expected that soon those places will be allowed to run the business.
