The South Indian Artists Association elections are fast approaching. The “Pandavar Ani” contestants filed their nomination today. The five main leads such as Vishal, Nassar, Karthi, Karunaas and Ponvannan filed their nomination at 9:30 am today. From the morning there were lots of people crowded in front of the election office. Nassar said, “As far as I am concerned, this is the first ever joyous election of the artists’ association. The drama artists and the silver screen artists get mingled for the first time through this election. This is the first time we are facing the election jointly. Everyone in the association expects some positive change.” Vishal spoke to the media, “We do not contest in this election for any postings. We are here to protest for the welfare of the artists’ association. We are expecting a good change.” When the press people asked about his issues with Sarathkumar, “I am not slandering anyone. I just told the truth. I am a straight forward person and I act according to the justice. If he files the case for opening up the truth, I know how to face it”, said the retorted Vishal.
