VK Gurusamy is a well-known politician in Madurai. He belongs to the DMK Party. ADMK’s Rajapandi and Gurusamy don’t have good terms. In their fight, nearly 12 people were killed, since 2010. VK Gurusamy’s son-in-law MS Pandi had been working for the polls in a booth in Madurai Chinthamani area. A gang of people, who came in an auto-rickshaw, chased and murdered MS Pandi.
Later, he was rescued and rushed to the hospital. But, he died on the way to the hospital! His mortal remains are kept in Madurai Government Rajaji Hospital. The police filed the case and the inquiry is on.
