Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals, the teams that were once banned for match-fixing, made their reentry, last year with a bang. Their latest match was held in Jaipur, the home ground of Rajasthan Royals. Both the teams had a good batting line up and the bowlers.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the CSK captain, chose to bowl. Ajinkya Rahane, the RR captain, had a good start with his bat. It was expected that RR would score a huge score, which will give a tough challenge to CSK. But, CSK boys controlled the score to 151.
When it was considered a decent target, CSK’s opening was not impressive. They lost 4 quick wickets and had been fighting for the victory. After the Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni entered in, the score started raising. Ambati Rayudu and Dhoni set a good score. But they returned to the pavilion with just two overs remaining. Ravindra Jadeja and Mitchell Santner did a great job at the end and made the day! The final ball sixer by Santner will remain in the IPL history for sure.
