She was complained by various people for her unruly behavior. Kamal, the senior director recalls Meera’s activities in the sets. He has written about the behavior of the actress in the sets. 

Once a senior costume designer, showed her the costumes to be worn for the shoot, the actress tore the dress, in front of everybody. This made the entire crew upset and feel pity for the costume designer. And the costume designer is none other than the experienced S.B. Satheesh. Kamal also told that, Meera was very stubborn with the people in the sets and she is the one, who is completely responsible for her downfall. Onscreen calmness is different from off screen behavior!
