. Arthana is the daughter of actor, Vijayakumar. However, she doesn’t have any contact with her father. She openly states that she doesn’t need her dad’s reputation to pursue her career. She says that she didn't know the whereabouts of her father and had never been in touch with him.
Vijayakumar divorced his wife Binu, when Arthana was a kid. Binu raised Arthana as a single parent. She says that she wants to put her mother’s name as the surname and not her father’s.
Arthana has completed her graduation in Mass Communication and wanted to carry her studies. Her aim is to become a civil service officer.
