Sai Chand is a versatile actor, who was born on 12th March 1956 in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. His parents are Tripuraneni Gopichand Tripuraneni Gopichand(8 September 1910 – 2 Novembe >> Read More... and Sakuntala Devi. His dad was a Telugu writer and his grandpa Tripuraneni Ramaswamy was a renowned lawyer, playwright, poet and social reformer. Sai Chand lost his father when he was just 6. Sai appeared in Sati Arundhati, a Telugu film as a child artist. He did his schooling at Vasavya Vidyalaya in Vijayawada. To pursue his graduation, Sai Chand went to Hyderabad. He completed his graduation at New Science College with B.com major.

In 1980, he made his debut as an actor with the film, Maa Bhoomi. The film directed by Goutam Ghose Gautam Ghose is a special man.
