Samaresh has an MBA in HR and Marketing and could have chosen to live a luxury life but instead he chooses for what his heart desired for.

Samaresh attended Saheed Nagar High School for his primary and Utkal Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, Bhubaneswar for his formal education.

Later he joined national school of drama in New Delhi to learn acting. Samaresh is a film actor, producer and television personality.

He has been a part of more than 40 Odia films and television shows even though he is known for his negative roles but still has won many hearts. Samaresh has played lead role in 500 theatrical shows and has also been a part of STAG (Street Theater Action Group programs).

Samaresh’s journey in Mumbai started as an executive producer & program coordinator for Sanskar channel & as an associate executive producer in Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms for the serial " Kusum Kusum is a Marathi-language televised show on Sony >> Read More... ". Samaresh has done great acting in Saheed Bhagat Singh in the year 2002 of Yashpal.

After a gap of 4 years he entered in Odia film industry with the movie Mo Suna Pua then he played the lead role in Dhauli Express.

This movie won the Odisha State Film Award for Best Film in 2007. In Mukhyamantri he played negative character of chief minister, with this his acting of villainous roles continued, in Loafer, Most wanted and so on.

His latest film is Adrushyam which was directed by Rajendra Mohanta. It was released on 31 January 2020. Odione is directed by samaresh ,an odia music company also engaged in film production.

Apart from acting Samaresh take care of his family business and Samaresh has also made a website which gives the information on the Odia film industry.

He has been awarded as Best Actor in Negative Role many times, including 2 Tarang Cine Awards. He was also awarded as Best Actor for NAMARD in 28th Odisha State Film Awards.

His own group ‘Srujanikaa’ bagged many prizes in national Youth Festival at Ahmedabad, Chennai and Bhopal organized by HRD, Sports & Youth Service Department of Government of India. Samaresh spirit was different from others which made him unique.
