Tirupathi Prakash was introduced as a comedian to the Telugu Film Industry by Director Krishna Mohan Reddy, in his 1991 film Nani. He went on to become a well-known comedian in Telugu cinema. Originally called Timmapuram Karanam Ravi Prakash Rao, his name was shortened to Tirupathi Prakash by the popular Telugu director E.V.V.Satyanarayana. He has acted in more than 150 movies and 5 TV shows. Born in Hindupuram, a city in Ananthapuram District, Andhra Pradesh to TK Rama Murthy Rao and TK Satyavathi, he completed his schooling at St.Mary’s High School in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. He graduated from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupathi. He also took an acting course at Multimedia University, Malaysia.
He was a stage artist right from his school days. He used to take actively part in plays, fancy dress competitions and other theatre arts. He became immensely popular after Jambalakidi Pamba, a much talked about Telugu comedy film directed by E.V.V.Satyanarayana. He is a huge admirer of the celebrated Telugu star
and is seen in almost all his movies. He is well known for his roles in Hitler, Varasudu, Mayajalam and Shankar Dada MBBS.

To survive in the film industry, one must constantly find out about new openings in films from their directors. Determination and dedication will ultimately pay off, and success becomes inevitable.
He has also expressed his interest in doing a pathos role in a film, one that would make people cry.
