Subhashini Kannan

The Indian film and television actress Subhashini Kannan is a woman of many talents who mainly works in the Tamil language. Besides being an actress, Subhashini Kannan is also a dubbing artist, trained singer, dancer, skilled orator, former VJ, and RJ. Subhashini Kannan was born in Madurai and brought up in Chennai. The actress stroked a perfect balance between studies and extra-curricular activities and excelled in both. She trained herself in the classical form of dance and performed in few events. Subhashini Kannan graduated from the University of Madras by majoring in music. Further, she did her Master’s degree in Psychology. Subhashini Kannan is married to Kannan, and the couple has a son named Jashwanth Krishna. Impressed by her singing, Subhashini Kannan was roped in to play a prominent role in the AVM Productions serial Dhik Dhik Dhik in SUN TV.

The series marked her debut in the television world in which she featured along with actor Siva Kumar. Further, the actress played the lead role in the serial produced by AVM Productions called Take it Easy Vaazhkai in 2001. After working there for eight months, Subhashini Kannan moved to Hello FM in 2006. Her shows Pudhu Padalgal, Ragasiya Thozhi, and Top 10 were very famous. Subhashini Kannan had a very successful run as an RJ for ten years till 2016.
