Sruthi Bhumireddy was born on 23rd of April in the year 1990. Currently, she is 25 years of age. She was born in Kadapa to a Telugu speaking family. From her education, she got the influence of Patriotism. She wanted to join Indian Air Force. But, her mother was against her decision of joining Indian Air force.

From Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology situated in Hyderabad, Sruthi has completed her degree of B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) in IT (Information Technology). After completing the degree of graduation, Sruthi got placed in a company named “HCL” through campus placements. Later on, she moved on to do MBA and left the job. From SRM Business School, SRM University situated in Chennai, she has completed her degree of Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and Marketing. Her mother wanted her daughter to do Engineering. Her father was supportive and supported her in this decision. She was having a good command of English, and have good communication skill due to which she thought of moving from a software engineer job to the job of sales and marketing. Sruthi has done many films. Some of which are People’s War which was released in the year 2012 and Sruthi played the role of “Maha Lakshmi.” It was her debut film which was made in Telugu language starring Srihari along with her. In the same year, a movie named “Neeku Naaku Dash Dash” was released in which Sruthi made a special appearance in the song named “Boys Boys.” Jagan was released in the year 2013 in which Sruthi played the role of Jhansi. She has also done roles in movies like Writer and Oru Oorla Rendu Raja which were released in the year 2013 and 2014 respectively.

Since her school days, she was an active participant in cultural activities. In the year 2011, Sruthi won first prize held by Society for Triggering Engineers Development (STED) at the cultural fest named “AAROHAN” held among all the JNTU affiliated colleges. She learned Bharatanatyam which is an Indian dance form at a very young age. While she was in her final year of graduation, she got the opportunity to walk on the ramp on ABN Andhra Jothi’s channel for a fashion designer. It was her modeling debut.

After that, she has appeared in many fashion shows like Miss North India in the year 2011. She has also won Miss Catwalk. This is because she thought of pursuing her career in acting. For that, she joined Anupam Kher’s acting school named “Actor Prepares” situated in Mumbai. She has completed the diploma in acting from there.

Ganthimathi Tamil Actress


Ganthimathi is one of the veteran actresses of Tamil film industry.  Shecould sketch any character given to her due to her training in acting that she learned while engaging herself in theater activities. She started acting at a tender age of 11 and had acted in nearly 500 films. She could speak local Tamil dialects very well and hence was seen in many films of Bharatiraja. Known for her devotion and theater background, she scored over other prominent artists be it Sridevi, Kamal Haasan or even Rajanikanth.  Virtually, Ganthimathi needs no introduction in Tamil cinema. Although she began her career as a child artist and had acted as a heroine in a couple of films, she did not remain active in cinema for long. She began her career in 1965.  It was only renowned filmmaker Bharathiraja who spotted the talent in her when he was in look out for a versatile actress who could play Mayil’s (Sreedevi) mother in ’16  Vayathinile’ (1977) (which is considered to a be a milestone in Indian cinema).  The director was in look out for an actress who could speak local Tamil dialects spoken in villages and Ganthimati was the ultimate choice of the director. She had many dramatic scenes with Sridevi, Kamal Haasan, and  Rajanikanth. She essayed her character in a convincing manner and drew particular attention to her dialogue delivery and body language. Her other notable films are ‘Mann Vasanai’, ‘Muthu’,‘Karagattakaran', 'Manickam', 'Walter Vetrivel' and 'Chinna Thambi Periya Thambi’, etc.  For her contribution to Tamil cinema, Ganthimathi was honored with the Kalaimamani Award from the Tamil Nadu government. She is a well-known actress in Tamil cinema who had portrayed the mother and grandmother roles very convincingly for all superstars of Tamil cinema. It may be noted that the actress made her appearance in ‘Iravum Pagalum’(1965) which had Jaishankar and C.Vasantha in lead roles. She also acted in many films of Sivaji Ganesan, Jayalalithaa, and MGR, which were runaway hits. In Bharathiraja’s movie ‘Mudupani’ she played the role of the madam of a brothel and while in Balu Mahendra’s ‘Moondram Pirai’, she again essayed a role of a brothel owner.  This actress was much sought after actress in 70’s-90’s. She acted in the direction of Vasu, Bharathiraja, Balu Mahendra, Manivannan, etc.  She has excelled in doing character roles in every film. After a successful journey in Tamil cinema, she also entered the small screen. She passed away on September 9, 2011, at her residence in Chennai.


Padmini Ramachandran

Padmini Ramachandran is a legendary actress who had stunned the Indian film industry with her vibrant acting and graceful dance. Padmini has dazzled many film industries, including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Padmini is a Keralite born in Trivandrum in the year 1932. She is well recognized as the member of the Travancore sisters. Padmini, along with her sisters Lalitha and Ragini stood together while dazzling the Indian film industry. They are together known as the Travancore sisters. Padmini started entertaining the general public from the age of fourteen. She was seen in a Hindi film named “Kalpana” as a dancer. She thus lighted the lamp for the thirty-year embarkment she took in the field of acting. And during this extensive acting period, she was seen to have made some great movies with some of the most legendary artists in the Indian film industry, such as Sivaji Ganesha, Prem Nazeer, Sathyan, Raj Kapoor, Shami Kapoor, S.S. Rajendran, etc. Even though a Keralite, she mainly acted in Tamil films. Her debut movie in Tamil was “Ezhai Padum Padu”, which was released in the year 1950. The movie instantly gave her a ticket to stardom. She has taken upon a mix of characters. But most of her characters seemed to tap into the graceful dancer within her. Even with those different characters she does, one underlying similarity in them regarding the emergence of the ‘dancer’. She has done over hundred films, making her one of the most respected actresses in the industry. She has also brought in a handful of awards including a National Award for her acting skills. She has also done a TV series named “American Dreams”, a Malayalam soap opera which was aired on Asianet channel in the year 2002. She truly was an irreplaceable asset to the film industry. She died on September 2006. Her absence was truly felt by all and affected everyone equally.
