The film portrays Mugil (Ashwin) falling in love with Meghavathy (Srushti). But one day she mysteriously disappears. Moreover, Adukalem Naren, who is to become Chennai's next police commissioner, murders Vijayakumar, who he thinks to be a threat to his promotion. Thus, Naren tries to frame Mugil for the murder as well as to link him with the disappearance of Megha. As a result of all this events, Mugil finds himself in a critical situation to find his love and save himself. The movie undergoes many twists and turns that form the basis of this romantic thriller and how they will finally reunite forms the rest of story.
