M Bhanumathi is an Indian stage and film actress who has worked in several Tamil movies, TV shows, and stage plays. Bhanu was born in the year 1946 in Tamil Nadu and died on 4 February 2013 at the age of 67 in Teynampet, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She was suffering from Jaundice and was under medication. Venkatalakshmi, her only daughter was beside her till her last breath. She started working in the film industry from the year 1965 and kept on working till her last days. She has given 100s of masterpieces to the Tamil media industry. Besides doing hit movies, she has also done several TV shows for the Sun TV channel which have remained all-time favorite of the audience.
