Kishmu Tamil Actor


Kishmu is a Tamil actor. His real name is Kishmu Krishnamurthy. He is mainly known for Tamil cinema. He is a brother of director Visu who has given us memorable films. Visu is a Tamil writer, director, film actor, television host and stage performer. His real name is M.R. Viswanathan but the stage nicknamed him as Visu. Kishmu was born in Tamil Nadu. He was influential with his filmy family. Kishmu has worked in approximately six movies. His career began from Naalu Perukku Nandri (1983). Then he gave us a film Samsaram Athu Minsaram (1984). It was totally a melodramatic family drama. It was the biggest hit for him. Actually, Kishmu became famous from this film. We can say that it was his lucky charm which made him very successful. Bollywood also makes the Hindi version which was named as Sansar. In 1985, Aval Sumangalithan and in 1986, Samsaram Adhu Minsaram and Oomai Vizhigal became very popular. Kishmu was the hero in these films. They are also very big hits. Samsaram Adhu Minsaram gets National Film Award and Film fare Award in 1987 for the most popular film. It was dubbed in Telugu and Kannada. The director and story writer of this movie was his brother Visu. In 1992, Kishmu had done an enormous role Urimai Oonjaladugiradhu. He had played a leading role in many films like Varavu Nalla Uravu (1990). Urimai Oonjaladugiradhu was the story of two friends. It was full of family sentiments, comedy, and love. It was dubbed in Telugu as Dabbu Bhale Jabbu. Shankar Ganesh has given its music. He had mostly worked in the production of Rajam Balachander. He had performed in Antru Kanda Mugam and Penmani Aval Kanmani also. Penmani Aval Kanmani is a film based on dowry system and alcoholism in slums. Kishmu died at a very young age. The cause of his death was drinking and smoking that made his liver fail. Visu and Kishmu were the synonyms of each other, so Visu became alone after him. Kishmu was a great person, actor and assistant director. He had his place as elegant, sophisticated, versatile and complex personality. The methods of his work were very transparent.
