Dhandapani was an Indian actor. He appeared in many Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil movies. He became famous after playing the lead role in Kaadhal in 2004. It also became a title for him as a prefix. He is widely known as "Kaadhal Dhandapani". He recently passed away after having a cardiac arrest on 20 July 2014.

Earlier he was a business person in Dindigul village. He was offered many honourable postings in the town. And then in 2004, he was offered to play the lead role. He was to play the role of lead actress’s father in the movie Kaadhal. The director of the film was Balaji Sakthivel.

It was a fantastic breakthrough for him which helped him to start an acting career where he acted in more than 200 films. His filmography includes Englishkaran, Chithiram Pesuthadi, Velayudham, Muni and many more. He died of a cardiac arrest on 20 July 2014. He died at the age of 71. He has three sons and a daughter and eight grandchildren.

Chandrasekhar opened his eyes in the beautiful city of Vagai Kulam in Madurai District of Tamil Nadu. To be cast as lead or supportive roles was never a matter of preference to him, he played both the roles in the era of 1980. Apart from his real name, he was also known to us by Vagai Chandrasekhar. His cast was not only for movies, theaters & television programs were also his fields of choice. Career On the 14th of April 1979, the Tamil movie Puthiya Vaarpugal hit the theatres. The movie featured K. Bhagyaraj & Rati Agnihotri for the lead roles under the direction of P. Bharaathiraja. Chandrasekhar was cast for an important role in the movie and without disappointment, he proved his worth for the role. The movie was later on remade in Telugu. The Tamil action movie “Jai Hind” hit the banners in 1994 under the direction of Arjun. Chandrasekhar cast for the role of Sekhar in the movie. The storyline of “Jai Hind” revolves around a brave police officer “Bharath” who saves the city of Tamil Nadu from the bombing attacks of terrorists risking the life of his love. The movie became a huge hit at box office claiming numerous positive reviews in its favor. Later on, the movie was dubbed in Telugu and its sequel “Jai Hind 2” hit the banners in 2014. In 2010, Chandrasekhar cast for the role of “Umapathi” for the movie Maanja Velu. A. Venkatesh directed the movie with Dhanshika and Prabhau Ganesan in the lead roles. For 5 days the climax scene for the movie was shot in Munneswarar Temple of Chennai featuring 400 junior artists & 25 stunt artists in it. With a long list of the movie having his name in the cast, TV serials like Therkathi Ponnu & Vasantha were noted with his presence.

Dileepan is an actor who worked predominantly in Tamil language Films. Dileepan was born in 1980 in Kallakurichi, a municipality in Tamil Nadu’s Villupuram District. He won much acclaim for his performance in Azhagiya Theeye, as the friend of the actor, Prasanna.  The romantic comedy was based on the story of four guys from different parts of Tamil Nadu during the making of a movie, and how their life changes after a woman’s entry into their life. In his fourth film, Sembattai, Dileepan played the role of Sembattai, a mentally retarded person. He is being looked after by his brother, who is a fisherman. Dileepan has always said that he is a great fan of the Bollywood actor, Akshay Kumar. Dileepan even flew to Mumbai before the release of his movie, Vathikuchi. Dileepan’s brother, A R Muragadoss, who is a popular director of Tamil film industry, directed Thupakki’s remake in Hindi.Dileepan’s last film Vathikuchi portrayed the crimes committed in a city from a different angle. It also featured Saranya, Jayaprakash, Anjali, Rajshree, and Raja. It was produced jointly by Fox Star Studios and Murugadoss Productions. At 32 years of age in 2012, Dileepan bid goodbye to the industry. The young actor suffered from jaundice, and his death came as a blow to the whole Tamil Film Industry.
