Dhandapani was an Indian actor. He appeared in many Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil movies. He became famous after playing the lead role in Kaadhal in 2004. It also became a title for him as a prefix. He is widely known as "Kaadhal Dhandapani". He recently passed away after having a cardiac arrest on 20 July 2014.
Earlier he was a business person in Dindigul village. He was offered many honourable postings in the town. And then in 2004, he was offered to play the lead role. He was to play the role of lead actress’s father in the movie Kaadhal. The director of the film was Balaji Sakthivel.
It was a fantastic breakthrough for him which helped him to start an acting career where he acted in more than 200 films. His filmography includes Englishkaran,
