Anil Krishnan

Anil Krishnan is an Indian director, writer and film editor. He graduated from the GRD School of Science with expertise in the field of colour grading and film editing. Krishnan is a born prodigy, according to some, who began editing film songs by the age of 15 and had decided that he wanted to make a career in the entertainment industry. He shifted to Chennai with his family in search of a job. It was here that he met director RS Prasanna at a film editing workshop, who was later to become his mentor. Krishnan wanted to become a director, but became popular for his editing skills after he worked on a TV show called "Naalaya Iyakunar". A Post that he made a short film titled "Kanupuddi" with director Arun Sudhakar. Krishnan went on to open Pixelite Studios, which he runs in partnership with Jerin Raja, a friend and a software engineer. He is currently working as the editor on an English film titled "On A Quest", directed by 'Prasanna'. The film is based on the life of Swami Chinmayananda, who was a Hindu spiritual leader and who formed the Chinmaya Mission. Prasanna says that he was inspired by Kamal Hasan’s "Hey Ram" while the making of this film. Krishnan says that editing this particular film has been an exciting experience as he gets to travel with the crew to sites and locations and the perk of being an editor is that you get to see the movie before it releases. Simultaneously, he is also working on a short feature film script that he will direct. His best works include the short film "Lost Paradise", about a man who was in jail for fifteen years and what his hopes are for life after prison; "Idhuvam Kadandu Pogam", a tragic love story and "Bench Talkies-The First Bench", a series of six films portraying various life stories. Talking about his life and love for movies, Krishnan goes on to say that films are more of a business venture than anything else, and these are little appreciation for real talent. There is little admiration for the work that goes into the scripting, editing, sound score, dubbing, and other elements involved in the making of a film. Despite that, he wants to live in and make a living out of the movies. He wants to be renowned as a short film director someday.

Sudharshan

Sudharshan is a Tamil Editor, and a majority of his work predominantly belongs to the Tamil films in the South Indian movie industry. He was born on May 29, 1989, in the state of Chennai in India. His Tamil language movies are often a collaboration involving people like R. Parthiepan. He made his debut project, Nagaraja Cholan MA, MLA in the year 2013 under the direction of Manivannan. The film had a political story and was a second part of the movie Amaidhi Padai which released in 1994. Sudharshan studied engineering at the university level and completed a degree in the branch of computer science at the Kumbakonam Sastra University. He soon realized that his passion lied in the editing of films. So he took on a film editing course at the Loyola College in Chennai. He kick-started his career with Radaan Mediaworks and edited the movie Chithi in the year 2001. Subsequently, he worked with television channels like Jaya Tv, Mega TV, Thanthi Tv, and Kalaignar TV and edited their shows and programmes. He also was the editor of the serial Anandham under the Sathyajyothi films. After his debut movie, the director of the movie Manivannan suffered an untimely death. After this unfortunate event, R. Parthiepan gave Sudharshan the opportunity to edit his future films Kathi Thiraikathai VasanamIyakkam in 2014, which was a satirical art film and was produced by k. Chandramohan. The cast consisted of mostly newcomers and some experienced actors some special appearances. The other movie that Parthiepan directed and had Sudharan do the editing was Koditta Idangalai Niruppuga in 2017. Sudharashan was also the editor of the famous movie Zero which released in 2016. Zero was a fantasy horror film and was written and directed by Shiv Mohaa. It starred Ashwin Kakumanu, J D Chakravarthy, Shivada as the lead roles and several other actors like Dr. Sharmila, Ravi Raghavendra, Andreanne Nourigat and Tulasi playing the roles of the supporting cast. Apart from these, his filmography includes the films Yemaali in the year 2018, which was a romantic thriller film and the writer and director Was V. Z. Durai. The project starred Sam Jones, Samuthirakani, Athulya Ravi and Roshni Prakash among others. He worked in the movie Dhayam in 2017. Kannan Rangaswamy and produced by A. R. S. Sunder wrote the script of the thriller. The movie’s cast included Aanchal Singh, Jayakumar, Santhosh Pratap, and others.
