Tarsem Jassar was born on the 4th of July, 1986, in Jassar village in Fatehgarh Sahib district, Punjab, India. He is a well-established singer, songwriter, and actor who is predominantly active in the Punjabi industry. Tarsem burst onto the scene with his 2014 single off his debut album of the same name, ‘Attwadi’, under the Vehli Janta Record label.
His songs are a massive hit among his fans, with songs like ‘Sardara’, ‘Happiness’, ‘Geet De Wargi’, etc. garnering countless views and streams. He debuted as an actor in the 2017 film ‘Rabb Da Radio’, playing the character of Manjinder Singh. He was awarded the Filmfare Award for Best Debut Actor for his performance in the movie. He has also worked on movies like ‘Sardar Muhammad’ and the sequel to ‘Rabb Da Radio’, ‘Rabb Da Radio 2’.
