Sangeeth

Sangeeth is a playback singer who chiefly works in the Malayalam movie industry. He was born in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, to Rajagopal and Shantha Rajagopal. He did his secondary education at a school in Panthalam, Pathanamthitta, and Higher Secondary education in Thiruvananthapuram. Later, he joined a Music college in Trivandrum. Sangeeth developed a passion for music from a very young age of three and started learning music under his mother, who herself was a music teacher. He enthusiastically participated in School Kalolsavam, which earned him the title “Kala Pratiba.” Sangeeth is trained well in Classical music, light music, Mappila Pattu, and many more.

The show was a breakthrough in his life that awarded him immense popularity among the public. He enters the Mollywood industry in 2007 as a playback singer. His debut song “Ponilla Mazhaya” from the film “Chotta Mumbai” remained unreleased in the movie but became an eclectic song due to its soothing effects. His recent hits are from the movie “Ramesh and Sumesh,” In 2017 he got married to his love Krishna, a dancer. She has acted in a few Malayalam movies as a child actress. Sangeeth is active on YouTube under the name ‘Sangeeth Singer’, in which he has released many cover songs. He also had composed an album, “Katturumbu”, which made a considerable sensation among music lovers. It is Sangeeth’s enthusiasm and passion for music that aided him in achieving prominence in the field of music.
