Aditi Ravi

Aditi Ravi is an Indian actress and model, appearing in Malayalam movies. She was born on 31st January 1993 in Thrissur, in Kerala. She is one of the admired actresses in the South with around 489 K followers on Instagram. Aditi was born to Ravi and Geetha in Thrissur. She has two siblings – one brother, Rakesh and one sister – Rakhi. Aditi graduated from Christ College, Irinjalakuda in Thrissur. She currently resides in Ernakulam, in Kerala. Aditi first pursued a career in modeling before starting her acting career. She began her modeling career during her education at the Christ College where she applied for appearing in a commercial for the Times Of India and was later selected. It was due to her role in the ad that landed her, her first acting debut. She had her acting debut in the 2014 Malayalam romantic comedy film Angry Babies in Love as a supporting role. She played the role of Maria, a model coordinator in a modeling agency. This movie did not fare well due to the lack of originality of the plot. In 2014 itself she was also cast in two other films – Third Wold Boys and as Teena in Malayalam comedy film Beware of Dogs. She appeared in music videos alongside Siddharth Menon. The titles were Yelove and Yami released in 2014 and 2015 respectively. The vocals for the song were by Shreya Ghoshal. She also appeared in several TV commercial advertisements such as for Ramraj, Oppo camera phones, KK International, Christian matrimony, Varna Home Designs, Pothys, and De Fab. Aditi took a break from acting and modeling for some time after being cast as the lead role in the 2017 Malayalam satirical comedy film Alamara along with Sunny Wayne, Aju Warghese, Saiju Kurup, Ranji Panicker, and Sonu Anna Jacob as the lead roles. Directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas, the film received reviews as a very average film. Aditi played roles in the 2017 movies Adventures of Omanakuttan, Udaharanam Sujatha, Lavakusha, Champarathippoovu. Aditi also played a role in the 2018 Malayalam action thriller film Aadhi as Anjana. The movie directed by Jeethu Joseph received a positive critical response and ran for over 100 days at the theatres. Aditi appeared in another 2018 Malayalam comedy film Kuttanadan Marpappa along with Kunchacko Boban, Surabhi Santosh, Ramesh Pisharody and Dharmajan Bolgatty. Directed by Sreejith Vijayan the movie received positive critics. Aditi played a role in the 2018 Malayalam drama film Naam which portrays a heavy dose of friendship. Her 2018 upcoming movies are Tick Tock and Ajith from Arupukottai.
