Jayakumari is an actress who has worked in many different industries. Her works range from Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi. She was prevalent in the 1960s because of her acting skills and glam quotient. She has worked in many leading films of the 70s. She is a native of Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She started off her career in Malayalam with a film called Collector Malathi. She has added more than 50 Malayalam films to her kitty. Her other works in Malayalam include Rathri Vandi, Agnimrigam, Kandavarundo, etc.  

Jayakumari has worked in Telugu cinema in a film named Bala Mitrula Katha. She has worked with notable personalities in her career like Prem Nazir in Football Champion, a Malayalam flick, Jaya Shankar in Nootruku Nooru, a Tamil movie, Rajkumar in Manninga Maga, Kannada cinema, and Rajesh Khanna in Haathi Mere Saathi, a successful Hindi movie of the 70s. Her other work in Hindi is Yeh Chor Yeh Lutere.

Jomol

Jomol is a known name in Malayalam film industry. Though she is a Christian, she rechristened her name as Gowri, owing to her wedding with Chandrasekhara Pillai. Her husband was initially her chat buddy. This couple is blessed with two children, Aarya and Aarja.    Jomol was busy during the latter half of the 1990s. She also endeavored into films as a child artist. She was born as Joma John. The 1997 flick Ennu Swantham Janakikutty fetched her Kerala State Awards in the best actress category. This film also won the best actress award in the Special Jury Mention category at National Awards. Later she gave several hits, including Ustaad, Niram, Punjabi House, Sneham and Mayilpeelikkaavu. Jomol also had a brief stint in television; she acted in the serial Achante Makkal, which was aired on Surya TV.    Born on 4th October 1981, Jomol hails from Thiruvambady, Thrissur. Her debut flick as a female lead is Ennu Swantham Janakikutty. The film comes under the abled supervision of Hariharan and M T Vasudevan team. The script is indeed a gripping one and Jomol lived the role of Jaanaki Kutty. The following year she appeared in quite a many movies. She had worked with comfort in both supporting and lead roles. These films were also lauded. Mayilpeeli Kaavu is a flick which was embraced by the audience. She shared screen space with Kunchakko Boban in this film.    The year 1998 also worked in favor of Jomol. She featured as the main heroine in the flick Deepasthambam Mahascharyam. She shared screen space with Dileep in this film. Then she sportively did a supporting role in Niram, which had Shalini playing the lead role. She played an innocent girl in this flick and her role was quite appreciated. Jomol was active in the film industry from 1999 to 2003.
