K. Venu Gopal (stage name Nedumudi Venu) is a film star with a big status in Indian cinema. He is undoubtedly Mollywood A-list actor. He is an actor from Kerala and even has acted in Tamil films. He is undoubtedly one of the best actors in the industry. Since he was a stage actor earlier, his versatile natural acting always coupled with the style of speaking Malayali accent with a coastal touch, made him one of the most successful actor in the industry. His dialogue delivery and facial expressions in films like ‘Saara’, ‘Margam’ and ‘Arimpara’ were a milestone in Malayalam cinema. He has played the role of a protagonist in many awards winning films and received appreciation from many international film festivals too. Many of his films were an adaptation from story or novels and was an author-backed role essaying characters of the landlord, lecturer or ghazal singer.

His breakthrough came from a film ‘Aaravam’, ‘Oridathoru Phayalwan’ and ‘Kallan Pavithran’ which put his strong foothold in Malayalam cinema. He was later seen playing family head in many movies but never got stereotyped with family dramas. He also acted in art cinema that was showcased in many international film festivals. He entered the tag of being one of the greatest actors of Indian cinema and often cited as a high-prolific actor. Many movies have given him state film award and even national film awards too.

He was even good at writing a story for many movies and even had tried his hand as a director. He has acted in a couple of Tamil films too such as Indian and Anniyan. Before making his debut in films, he was a school teacher and a journalist and even worked in theater. While he was in city Trivandrum, he made friendship with Bharat Gopi and Aravindran and made his foray into cinema. He also have given background voice for films and won the national award. He won special jury award for his performance in ‘Margam’ and won his first national award as a best supporting actor in ‘His Highness Abdullah’. His role in ‘Saira’ fetched him the best actor award in Zimbabwe International Film Festival.

The actor also appeared in TV series. This actor was born on May 22, 1948, in Travancore. He is married to T. R. Susheela.

Kalidas Jayaram was born on December 16th, 1993. He was born in Kerala, India. Kalidas began his acting career when he was just seven years old, and he took a break from the acting since 2003 till 2014 to focus on his studies. Kalidas is the son of the eminent Malayalam film actor Jayaram and an equally popular Parvathy. He has a sister-Malavika Jayaram, and he resides with his family. Before he even began to act, He had lent his voice to a movie named ‘Friends’ in1999. He received his bachelor’s degree from Loyola college-A prominent educational institution in Chennai. He graduated in Visual Communication. He debuted his film career by acting in the 2000 film ‘Kochu Kochu Santhoshangal’ He was just seven years old at this time. Kalidas acted a child who was raised by a single parent- who happened to be his father-Jayaram. Incidentally, In his 2003 film-‘Ente Veedu Appuvinteyum', he appeared again as the son of his father on screen. The film became a huge hit in the subcontinent and it gained a lot of attention due to his performance in it, which was delivered with utmost sincerity and perfection. The various acclamations that he got for the film include Asianet film award, Kerala state film award and also the National Film award for best child artist. In the movie, Kalidas plays the role of a boy who suffers from inferiority complex and doubts his parents of loving his younger brother more than him. Kalidasan’s awards are well deserved for his performance that was able to capture the traumatic psychological state in which the character finds himself caught in. He has acted in two films since his performance in ‘Ente Veedu Appuvinteyum’. The movies are ‘Oru Pakka Kathai’ and ‘Meen Kozhambum Man Paanayum’ – Both of them are Tamil movies slated to be released in 2016. Apart from movies, he was also featured in an advertisement of Cadbury Diary Milk-Which was also a huge success. Vijayan

Vijayan is a yesteryear film actor, writer and director, who predominantly work in the Malayalam and Tamil films. He was born on May 17, 1944, in Kozhikode, Kerala in India. He has acted in more than 100 films from 1960 until the year 2006. He died on September 22, 2007, due to cardiac arrest in a private hospital in Chennai, Tamil Nadu in India. Vijayan was currently filming Aayudham Seivom when he breathed his last. Besides being an actor, Vijayan is a scenarist and an editor of the Jwala magazine. He debuted in Bharathiraja’s Tamil film, Kizhakke Pogum Rail in 1978, where he earned fame and popularity. Before this, he started his career by working in the Malayalam cinema. Bharathiraja, who is also a writer, was the first one to know him. In 1977, Vijayan wrote the story of the Malayalam film, Sankhupushpam and he was supposed to act in the film, but he said he couldn’t do the role, and so Sukumaran replaced him. The latter became popular because of the way he delivered his dialogue in the film; those dialogues were also penned by Vijayan. Later, he received several opportunities in the Tamil cinema and acted in films like Utharipookal, Ponnu Oorukku Pudhusu, Pasi, Manthoppu Kelliey, Niram Maaratha Pookkal, Kumari Pennin Ullathile, Theru Vilakku, Chinna Chinna Veedu Katti, Oru Kaidhiyin Diary and many more. At the same time, he is also actively working in several Malayalam films including Guha, Kayam, Ethirppukal, August 1, Gaandeevam, Goa, Njaan Raajaavu and his last appearance in the Malayalam film industry was from the 2005 film, Kochi Rajavu. Vijayan’s last film release was the blockbuster Tamil action thriller film, Varalaru in 2006, which was written and directed by K. S. Ravikumar. The first and only film that Vijayan has directed was the Tamil film, Puthiya Swarangal. This film was completed in the year 1991; however, it was canned and never released as the negatives got damaged after the repair of Prasad Film Laboratories, where it was stored.
