Joshy Joseph was born on 18 July 1956 in Tamil Nadu, India. He is a maker of extraordinary documentaries, invariably figurative and dimmed the limitations that segregate good records from productive film-making until these boundaries no longer assist any valuable purpose. Despite being a filmmaker he also wrote three books in Malayalam. Having the personality of an author he met the poet, Dunya Mikhail, who worked on her autobiographical poems.
