Sushma hails from Mysore. Rangayana was her favourite hangout during early days and she has seen and performed various plays here. Thanks to this place, Sushma groomed herself and her acting talent here. She is a passionate theatre artist, who bravely plunged into the small screen world. A popular face on the small screen, she has acted in over twelve serials on various T.V Channels.
To her acting merit, she has acted in Kavya Kasturi, aired on Kasturi Channel. Also, Soubhagyavathi on Kasturi Channel in her other serial. On Udaya T.V, she acted in Karthika Deepa which was in the Drama Genre of serials. Suvarna Channel saw Sushma in the sitcom Anna Thangi. In Deepavu Ninnade Gaaliyu Ninnade, a daily serial on ETV Kannada saw Sushma play yet another role in the year 2012. Sushma has acted in a few other serials, Rathasapthami on Udaya T.V. Galipata on ETV Kannada, which has done a gargantuam number of more than 1371 episodes. Mahabharatha aired on Udaya T.V and Sun T.V sees Sushma performing in it.
Her skills just do not limit to theatre and small screen, she has taken a leap of faith into the big screen too. To hey glory, she has movies in her name. Cyber Yugadhol Navayuva Madhura Prema Kavyam is the film directed by Madhuchandra, it falls into a romantic movie category.
Sushma has a Master’s degree in Microbiology from the University of Mysore. She is settled in Bangalore now and is the daughter of Late Alemada Nanaiah and Usha Nanaiah. This versatile actress is a trained Bharatnatyam and Freestyle dance; a singer and a choreographer. She wears multiple hats and juggles it all seamlessly.
