Farah Shah is a Pakistani television actress and model. She shot to fame after hosting Yehi To Hai Lollywood, a Lollywood songs countdown show, from where she won the PTV World Award for Best Host. Though there is no one in her family related to films. The audience got impressed with her knowledge about the film industry and the film stars. 

She entered into acting in Boota from Toba Tek Singh, a Pakistani drama serial penned by Khalil-Ur-Rehman Qamar and helmed by Dilawar Malik. This was followed by a powerful performance in the drama serial Landa Bazaar, which was also written by Khalil-Ur-Rehman Qamar. Farah’s another notable performance was from the drama serial Chashman, where she played as a simple innocent girl. During her career, she was rumored that she has signed a film, but it turned out to be false. In 2013, she played as Naseem, the ex-wife of Salman Shahid’s character in the drama serial Aseer Zadi, which was aired on Hum TV.

Farah Nadeem is a Pakistani actress, who was born on June 3 in Karachi, Pakistan. Acting was in her genes and she has been following the footsteps of her family members who are also part of the same industry such as Sultana Siddiqui, a Pakistani TV producer and director and Mahnoor Baloch, a model, actress and film director. She made her debut in the year 1998 after she was cast on PTV’s drama serial, Kashish. Farah was introduced by director Kazim Pasha to the television. After that, she appeared in several PTV dramas like Tipu Sultan and Sham Se Pehle in year 1999 and Who Kaun Hai in the year 2000. She gained many awards for her performance in Tipu Sultan and Sham Se Pehle and even though, she was usually cast in a supporting role, she was able to impress the audiences by her brilliancy and dedication to perform. When the private entertainment channels started to launch in Pakistan, she was seen in a number of television dramas, which gained her immense popularity among the viewers. Farah has done the family drama serial Dil, Diya, Dehleez on Hum TV in the year 2006, following by an appearance on Geo TV’s Masi Aur Malika. She was also seen on Geo TV’s Chaar Chaand, ‘Who Rishtey, Who Naatey’ and Teray Anay Ke Baad; PTV’s Pani Pe Panah; ARY Digital’s Dil Ke Afsanay and Manzil and APlus’ Dard Ashna. In year 2007, Farah appeared in a TV movie entitled Women’s Freedom as the wife of Aslam Sheikh’s character. In 2013, she played a motherly role on Hum TV’s Tanhai and on Geo TV’s Rukhsaar. Recently, she was featured on ARY Digital’s Qismat, helmed by Shahid Younus and Aamir Yousuf’s Aitraz. In 2014, Farah was also featured in Kamran Akbar Khan’s Dil Ka Darwaza, aired on Hum TV. This year, the actress was also cast on TV One’s Zara si Bhool, helmed by Atif Rathore.


Fazila Qazi

Fazila Qazi, also known as Fazila Qaiser, is a Pakistani TV actress, anchor, producer, writer, chef and a model. She began her career as a child actress during the 80’s and earned critical acclaim for her portrayal in many television serials in 1990’s. Her acting career is spanning to over four decades now and she has become a major TV personality and a real epitome of beauty. In 1988, she established herself as a fashion model until she found success in television in the year 1991. Fazila was born in Karachi, Sindh in Pakistan and completed a degree at the Karachi University. Her name was changed to Fazila Qaiser after she got married to Qaiser Khan Nizamani, a TV actor and a household name during the 1990’s. They got married in 1994 and in the same year, they have launched their own production house called Studio and Media Services. Fazila made an entry into the glamour world at a very young age after she was offered to become a model of a boutique. She then caught the attention of Haider Imam Rizvi, a Pakistani director who introduced her on his upcoming serial. Since then, Fazila was launched in the industry. Prior to her marriage, she appeared in several dramas like Kasak and Dasht and at the same time, she has also done a number of television commercials. But when she became a mother, she took a break and just sidelined from acting. She said that both her pregnancies were unplanned. She got pregnant after her wedding and yet, she remained active and continued acting and on the last phase of his pregnancy, she was doing shows in U. S. and after the birth of her first son, she was in London for a shoot of her serial. Her first son, Ahmed, made her prepare for the coming of their second child. A few years after she returned to television, she was seen anchoring a religious show entitled Ramadan and later returned to acting in dramas. Fazila acted on Hum TV’s Larkiyan Mohallay Ki and Geo TV’s Khuda Aur Muhabbat in 2011. She also hosted a cookery show entitled Dine in with Fazila Qazi on ARY Zauq.
