He is a Bengali actor and model, who was once described as the ‘Most desirable man of Calcutta’ by the newspaper Calcutta Times.

He left Kolkata & got settled in Mumbai to fulfil his long awaited dream of making a career in the world of Hindi entertainment. He enrolled in the Roshan Taneja's acting school, where he sharpened his skills of acting. He was quite lucky as he soon got an opportunity to work in mainstream Hindi television programs. He was then seen in popular TV series ‘Basera’, in which he played the role of ‘Ketan Sanghvi’, who is one of the lead characters of the series. He also did some small roles in some famous serials such as ‘Mahima Shani Dev Ki’ & ‘Adaalat’. In ‘Adaalat’, he played the role of ’Viraj’, while in the series called as ‘Na Aana Iss Desh Laado’, he played one of the lead character called as ‘ Karan Singh Karan Singh is a casting director at Sikhaya Enter >> Read More... ’. ‘Na Aana…..’, the series, is based on the problem of female infanticide in the country and features the predominant oppression of the females in the male dominated society.

Most recently, he was seen in a Bengali television program called as ‘ Bojhena Se Bojhena Bojhena Se Bojhena, the Bengali serial, is the rem >> Read More... ’, in which he played the role of ‘Aranya Singha Roy’. For this particular role, he was nominated under various categories in the ‘Star Jalsha Awards’ and he was successful in winning the awards for various categories, including Best Debutant & Priyo Bhai awards. He seems to be going great. He is married and has a daughter. At present he lives and works in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
