Rajat Tokas is a prominent Indian television actor. He was born on July 19, 1991 in Munirka, Delhi, India. His parents, Ramvir and Pramila Tokas supported him in pursuing his career as an actor. He attended Hope Fall Foundation School in RK Puram district, New Delhi but due to his heavy schedules, he later studied through correspondence. Rajat started his career through the television show, Bongo. Then, in 2005 he bagged the role of Tantya, the brother of Sai Baba in the historical drama series, Sai Baba on STAR Plus. He was starred as the young Prithviraj Chauhan on Sagar Arts’ historical drama series, Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan in 2006. Initially, he was supposed to appear for few episodes only; but Shree Bhairon Singh Shekhawat, India’s former Vice President got impressed to his acting, so Sagar Arts decided to increase his appearance in the serial. Rajat got engaged to Shrishti Nayyar, a theatre artist last April 10, 2014 and they are set to tie the knot this January 2015. Because of his popularity, the actor recently hired bodyguards to take care of those people that will go near the actor. Prior to this, he also tried his luck in the big screen but it didn’t work well. During those times, he got depressed since he doesn’t have work so he utilized those times to finish his studies.
