Manoj Mishra is an Indian television and film actor. He has acted in Hindi television serials as well as Odisha films. He has studied in and graduated from the National School of Drama and Film. He has also done studies in the Television Institute of India. He is from Sambalpur.

In this serial, he played the role of a villain and the main antagonist for a period of time. He plays as Shamaldas, who is not a hardcore criminal but has been molded by his experiences and by society into the type of person he becomes. He received much praise for his portrayal of the character, and was even nominated for the ’Naya Strong Sadasya Award’ (new strong member award) in the Star Parivaar awards.

After the conclusion of his role in ‘Behenein’, he moved back to his hometown’s film industry and has featured in several Odia movies.
