Sujan Mukhopadhyay is an Indian actor, who is also known as Neel Mukherjee. He works mainly in the Bengali language movies, theatre, and TV. In 2012, Sujan started his directorial career with the movie Ghete Gho. He is a vital Member of the popular Theatre Group Chetana. On February 22nd, 2016 he started his directorial career, in the field of Theatre, with the play Ghashiram Kotwal, which was an adaptation of Marathi play. In 2018, Sujan directed the movie Don: Taake Bhalo Laage, which was an adaptation of Dale Wasserman's novel Don Quixote. It was translated into the Bengali language by Arun Mukhopadhyay several years back. This movie marked the re-entry of Sujan Mukhopadhyay as an actor after a long 25 years.
