Deepthi Suresh

Deepthi Suresh is an Indian musical artist. She contested in a singing competition named, "Airtel Super Singer" premiered in Vijay Television. Sometimes, music speaks more than words and only a very few people are gifted with such talents, and without any doubt, she is one of them. She participated in the Airtel Super Singer season 4, a show which hunts for the best voice of Tamil Nadu. She, being a naughty and active girl attracted everyone in the set right from day one. Songs are supposed to be sung with a feeling, and her cute expressions nailed it.

She says that singing is her passion and music is her life. And that passion was ingrained in her self. Through the program, she was able to interact with famous singers like Anand Vaidyanathan, Mano, Chithra, Subha and much more. The platform also gave her the opportunity to meet the Mozart of Madras, the Oscar winner, and her idol A R Rahman.

She used every opportunity she got and left no stones unturned. We'd expect such a talented singer to win the title. But say what? She was put in the danger zone in the dance attack round, and she wasn't seen in the next round. Of course, the show has something called the wild card round and she gave her best but since there's always someone who's better than us, her friends Sarath and Sonia qualified it, and she didn't. Even though she didn't qualify for the finals, she wasn't crest fallen. She took it sportive and tried to correct her flaws.

She was happy and content of that journey, no matter where she paused, she was sure she'd resume the journey and move farther. She did not win the title but she did win hearts and rose to the pinnacle. Hard work is bound to fructify, and it was the same with her. Those intense training sessions with the great singer Anand Vaidyanathan did pay off. The movie was developed both in Tamil and Telugu, and she did two songs in both the versions. The budding young singer says that Music, is an expression of God and when she's musically tuned she feels close to God. Her favorite songs are Udhaya Udhaya, Uyire, Manmohana, Oru poiyavathu sol kanne and all Rahman songs. She says she enjoys movies like Deivathirumagal, Taare Zameen Par, Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya to name a few. She's a foodie, and her favorite food is Roti Subzee. Can expect a brilliant future for her.
