‘Akriti Kakkar’ was born on August 7, 1986. She is a popular Indian singer who had sung many peppy numbers. The most prominent numbers are 'Saturday Saturday' song in the movie '
Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania' and 'Iski Uski', in the movie '
2 States'. In Zee Bangla, she had been a judge for the show, 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa: Li’l Champs'. She released her solo music album via Sony Music India in April 2010.
As of now, she had sung 33 songs in Bollywood.
Apart from this, Akriti also sang a song in Marathi and Bengali which were exquisite numbers. She was supposed to make a wild card entry to the dance show namely 'Jhalak Dikhla Jaa'. But unfortunately she had met with an accident. So this stopped her from doing rehearsals and she could make it.

. Akriti has two twin sisters namely Sukriti and Prakriti Kakkar. She is a Delhi based girl but then moved to Mumbai, and pursued singing as her career. Mumbai has been her home since 2005.
