Srabanti Chatterjee is a talented and versatile Bengali film and television actress. She first faced the camera as a child artist in the movie “Mayar Badhon” in the year 1997, directed by Swapan Saha. She is married to director Rajib Biswas, and the couple has a child. Srabanthi’s first significant role was in 2003 film “ Champion”. Srabanti also appeared in few telefilms for ETV Bangla. After a five years furlough, she returned to her lost acting profession. Chatterjee’s comeback movie was “Bhalobasha” (2008). Henceforth, she was seen in some films, most of which were hits at the box office. Some of the significant ones are “ Wanted” (Rabi Kinagi), “Amanush” (Rajib Biswas), “ Majnu” (Rajib Biswas,) to name a few. In 2013, she co-starred alongside Sharmila Tagore, Konkana Sen Sharma, Rahul Bose in “Goynar Baksho”, directed by the ace director Aparna Sen.

Srabanthi showcased her talent in telefilms like “Chhadmabeshi”, “Shortcut Prem”, “GolperNayika”, “SudhuTomariJonne”. Srabanti has some upcoming releases. “NabajibanBima” and “ Company” (2016) are her most awaited films.
