for the Parker Pen commercial for which she gained wide recognition. She started her acting career with the movie Tujhe Meri Kasam opposite Ritesh Deshmukh. This movie was released in 2003. In the same year, she also appeared in a lead role in a Tamil movie Boys. After that, she worked for various Telugu movies including the romantic movie Bommarillu in 2006 for which she received her first Filmfare award.
