Khesari Lal Yadav

From getting thrown out by his father for stealing Rs 10 to stealing the hearts of many Bhojpuri cinema fans, Khesari Lal Yadav's journey is a story worth to read. His parents welcomed him in this world on March 15, 1986. He was born in Chhapra, Bihar. His family's poverty never allowed him to get a proper education. There was a time when he had to sell litthi chokha to earn money for his family. His father, Mangru Lal Yadav, is a hard-working farmer while his mother takes care of his house. Yadav had to give up his career in BSF in order to launch his music album.

His early breakthrough came when he made a superb debut with his album "Maal Bhetai Mela Me". He also tried a hand in the field of acting by debuting from " Saajan Chale Sasural" in 2011. Now, he is a well-established actor and singer in the Bhojpuri film industry. He has released hit albums like 'Saiya Arab Gaiyle Na', 'Lehnga Me Meter', 'Pyaar Mange Lungi Bichake', and many more. Yadav even bagged the Best Actor Award in Bhojpuri Cine Awards for his spectacular performance in Sangharsh (2018). He has been honoured with many awards including Dada Saheb Phalke Award and UP Ratan Award in 2017.

He was selected as a wild card entry for Bigg Boss Season 13. However, his appearance on the show was short-lived as he was eliminated in just 20 days. He has performed in more than 24 Bhojpuri projects. Yadav is living a healthy married life with his wife, Chanda Devi. He has three children named Yugraj Yadav, Rishabh Yadav and Kriti Yadav.
