Gangapada Basu is a Bengali actor, writer, author. His name is Gangapada Bose. He was born in the year 1910. He was born in the era of British India. He was a Bengali film actor by profession. He also works with theater. He was an actor in various theaters. The two theaters play the vital role in his acting skills GananatyaSangha, and Bahurupee Theater. Gananatya has another name GananatyaSangha, which initiated the GananatyaAndolan.

It is a people's theater movement, which paves the way to success. It is a radical theater group. Due to these groups, society found a way to change the mindset for social and political theater aspect. The movement was taking place in the Bengal in the 1930s and 1940s.
