Behroze Sabzwari is a Karachi, Pakistan-born film and TV actor. He started his career as a Radio Jockey in Radio Pakistan. His career of acting took off flight in the 1970s with Dadajan Nanajan, a live television children’s play. Bheroze is popular for the role of character Aziz in the film Gul-e-Rana and character Waji Ahmed in Mera Naam Yousuf Hai. He also appeared in many television commercials several times. He has also been a part of some stage plays which includes the famous Mirza Ghalib Bandar Road Par, a famous play by Khawaja Moinuddin. This play was one of the earliest Bheroze’s ventures that introduced him throughout the television viewers of Pakistan in starting seventies. In the year 1974, he got fame through the play aired on PTV, Khuda Ki Basti, in which he played character Nausha.
He is famous for his comic reliefs though he does both comedy and serious roles. He has done the role of character Qabacha in Pakistani super hit TV drama serial Tanhaiyaan, which made him popular amongst many households and also Bollywood actor
also acknowledged his performance. Amongst his achievements, he was honored with “Pride of Performance” award in March 2009 for his 40 years of service to Pakistan Entertainment Industry. This award is the highest recognized award by Government of Pakistan. He is born in the Muslim community of Pakistan. His father is a naval officer in Pakistan. He got married in 1986 to a Muslim girl Safeena Shiekh, making in-law relation with famous Pakistani television and film actors, , Saleem Sheikh and Syra Yousuf. He has his only child, a son named Shahroz Sabzwari, who inculcated the skill of acting from his father and is also involved in acting as his career. Apart from this, he is the owner of a car showroom, and this is one of his assets in Karachi.
