Raghwesh Asthana

Raghwesh Asthana is an Indian filmmaker. His hometown is Varanasi and now, he lives in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. He is married and has a daughter named Srishti Asthana. In 1982, he studied Central Hindu School, Varanasi, and went to Banaras Hindu University from 1985 to 1986. After that, he studied at the Institute of Engineers in India. Interestingly, he is a versatile professional and excellent team builder with more than 25 years of experience in media, including 15 years' organizational experience in Creative Direction, channel Management. He has a proven tread record of producing over 10,000 episodes of television content in seven different languages. He worked on many channels like Sony, Zee, DD-1, Sirasa (Sri Lanka), Sun, Gemini and Udaya, Surya, Star Vijay, Mahuaa.

Furthermore, he also coordinated with Factory, UTV, and Sri Lanka's Talent factory in the television and motion picture joint ventures. Headed the programming and contributed to the growth of Star's Tamil Channel Star Vijay as a creative director. Moreover, he has successfully launched two new satellite channels & handled the profit and loss profile of three channels named Mahuaa TV, Mahuaa News & Pragya TV. Apart from this, it played an essential role in the launch of Mohuaa Bagala and Mohuaa Khabor. He is the CEO of Sadhna News and played a crucial role in renewing and relaunching big magic's national and regional channels. Also, his company launched two new TV channels named Gnn News and Gnn Bhakti. He has directed a feature film, the Red Corridor. He has been the CEO at Pragya Vision in the last two years.
