Bakul Sharma or Bakul Omprakash Sharma is a brilliant Indian cinematographer, who started her career with portraiture and original photography. Having no formal training in photography aside from her imagination and dreams, she became an assistant cinematographer in the year 2001. Bakul has worked on several projects and became an independent director of photography in 2008. She gained more experiences after working on many documentaries, short films, feature films, and television commercials. But experimental films remain in her heart.

In the same year, she worked as the Director of Photography for Scattered Windows, Connected Doors; an inspiring documentary that is made of eight stories comprising of eight different women who lives in the urban India. Bakul also worked as the Director of Photography in Suicidal (2013). Aside from films and documentaries, she also directed few TVCs for Levi’s and Century Real Estate.
