Mawra Hussain is a Pakistani actress, VJ, and a model. She was born into an orthodox, highly reserved and respected Muslim family on September 28th, 1992 in Islamabad Pakistan. She wanted to become an actress from her childhood itself. She has a sister and a brother. Her sister Urwa Hussain is also an actress who is quite famous like Mawra. Her parents named her as Mawra Hocane, but she later changed it to Hussain. Mawra finished her high school from Bahria College Islamabad. She is currently one of the most popular actresses of Pakistan.

Mawra stepped into acting in the year 2012. Her debut serial was . But before that she was a VJ like her elder sister. She appeared in various commercials of leading brands in Pakistan like Mobilink, Sunsilk, and Telenor etc. Mawra with her good looks caught the eye of many directors and producers who offered her roles in their TV shows. After stepping into the acting field, she did a lot of shows like “Yaha Pyaar Nahi Tha”, “Papa Razzi”, “”, “Aahista Aahista”, “Ek Tamanna Lahasil si”, “ Kitni Girhain Baqi Hain”, “ Nikhar Gaye Gulab Sare”, “The Hostels”, “Country Love” and many more.
