Will Brenton was born on November 11, 1962 in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. He is a creator, director, producer and screenwriter. He then ventured into direction and directed over 100 episodes. Will has worked as a director for 'Hollyoaks', 'Eastenders' and 'Emmerdale'. His work includes producing both mainstream and children's TV contents. Will has created and produced huge iconic series for children such as 'The Tweenies' (BBC) and 'Jim Jam & Sunny' (ITV), which have been among UK’s best children’s shows of all time, and stunning book adaptations such as 'Florries Dragons' (Disney), 'Wibbly Pig' (BBC), and Sue Hendra's 'Wanda and the Alien' (NickJr and C5). He is also known for  'BB3B', 'Fun Song Factory', 'Melody '(2013) and 'Coronation Street'. He has been awarded the BAFTA and nominated six times for the same, a Royal Television Society Best Children's show award, a Broadcast Award and a host of others.

He is also a writer and works both on his own shows and that of others. Brenton is perhaps famous and unique within the UK since he is both a TV creator and producer; and a writer and director of theatre and large arena shows. He has written, co-written and directed over 40 live shows, including around 26 arena shows and critically acclaimed theatrical plays, a musical for youngsters with special needs titled The Tale of 'Mr Tumble' for the Manchester International Festival which was telecaste on Cbeebies. 'The Tale of Mr Tumble' has been listed in the Guardian's Top 10 Theatre Picks for 2015. In 2017, he put a band together with Andy Day named Andy and the 'Odd Socks'  - whose first gig was in Glastonbury. He has worked on a number of projects for family and adult audiences. He has worked with Sunrise Productions on their series 'Munki and Trunk', that receives over 100 million views per month in China, 'Tee and Mo' (Cbeebies), and 'Team Jay' for Sunrise and Juventus FC.

Will also wrote and directed the 'Dr Who! The Monsters are Coming!' arena tour starring Nigel Planer, which opened at Wembley to great acclaim.
