”, “Scripted,” and the popular Indian Tv series “Naati Pinky Ki Lambi Love Story.” Neelam Gupta was born and raised in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. After her graduation, she joined the National School of Drama, New Delhi. She worked as an assistant director with many popular film and theatre directors. She also worked as assistant director for the movie “Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster” directed by Tighmanshu Sheila.
She started her acting career in the telefilm “Zehar Chand Ka” telecasted in Lucknow Doordarshan. Neelam has organized more than 45 theatre plays. She also worked on TV commercials. She got an opportunity to work in Star plus and NDTV’s prank tv show “Chuppa Rustam.” She even choreographed Muzaffar Ali’s sufi music program “Jahan e khusro.” She is one of the founding members of a theatre group named “Kala Bhoomi- performing arts & fine arts company”
