American well-known actress Gina Rodriguez was born on June 30, 1984, in Chicago, Illinois, USA. Her father Genaro Rodriguez is a boxing referee, and her mother is Magli. She has three sisters. She attended St. Ignatius College Prep and then she went to Tisch School of Arts. When she was seven years old, she used to dance for a salsa dance company called Fantasia Juvenil. To excel in the field of acting, she even went to the Atlantic Theatre Company. In 2006, she graduated with Bachelors of Fine Arts from the Experimental Theatre Wing.
