Lisa Leslie was born on the 7th of July in the year 1972. Leslie birth town is Gardena, California. She is the daughter of Christine Lauren Leslie and Walter Leslie. She was an American basketball player (professional) who has played in the WNBA - Women's National Basketball Association. Leslie is a four-time Olympic gold medal winner and a three-time WNBA MVP. She has married Michael Lockwood. He works as a pilot for UPS and a commercial real estate developer. They got married on November 5th, 2005.

They have a daughter named Lauren Jolie Lockwood, and a son, Michael Joseph Lockwood II. Leslie completed her MBA (Masters of Business Administration) degree from the “University of Phoenix” in the year 2009. She has played with the Los Angeles Sparks till 2009. She retired in the year 2009. Leslie is the first women player to dunk in a WNBA game. In the year 2011, she was selected in by her fans as one of the top fifteen individual players in WNBA history. In the year 2015, she was voted to the “Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.” Leslie has two sisters and a brother.

Lisa played basketball in the boy's basketball team during her middle school days. She has also played in the girl's team with the record of whopping 33–1. In the year 2002, Leslie was the first WNBA player to score her total career points over 3,000 and she contributed to the Sparks winning their second WNBA championship in that season. On August 11th, 2009, she was the first player to score 6,000 points in a career. She retired in the year 2009. She has played the role of herself in one episode of “The Simpsons”.
