Myleeta Aga is a highly accomplished entrepreneur and creative leader in the digital and media world. She holds an M.B.A. from Georgetown University, an M.A. in literature, and B.A. in Economics, showcasing her commitment to learning and growth. Having over 25 years of experience, Myleeta Aga has established herself as a force to be reckoned with. Her expertise in content and global distribution for broadcast and streaming media is well known and she has worked in various renowned organisations. Even though she has now left Netflix after a one-year stint, she was the Director of Content for Southeast Asia and Australia, based in Singapore. Aga built a strong team and curated an impressive content slate for the region. She held a senior role at BBC studios for over a decade before she joined Netflix.

During her time at BBC, Myleeta was responsible for overseeing the company’s operations regarding T.V. and digital sales, production, consumer goods, global news distribution, and BBC Player – an authenticated SVOD service, across the South and Southeast Asia region. At Discovery she oversaw factual and entertainment series from their conception to execution. Aga has also received two Emmy nominations for working as an executive producer on “Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations.” She has worked with Fremantle Media in Jakarta and UTV in Singapore. Myleeta is now the CEO of the Edtech start-up upGrad.
